QUESTIONS & ANSWERS

Ask a Question
  • Hi: I am deciding between the 5ft El Mar bench and the 5ft San Juan Bench. What are their differences? Is one heavier than the other? Sturdier? From the pictures, seems like San Juan has wood plugs to hide the bolts; is that the case? If none has wood plugs, any suggestions to hide the bolts? Thanks for your help.

Thanks for your interest in our teak benches. Yes, both the San Juan and El Mar are very similar and both are equally strudy and weigh the same at 62 lbs. So it's really just personal preference as the styling is slightly different. There will be exposed bolts on both the El Mar and San Juan benches. If you'd like to cover the bolt holes, you can take a wooden dowel that's slightly larger and tap it into the hole and then cut it off flush with the outside wood. Please let us know if you have further questions.
